The Extravaganza will now be on Sunday, November 4th at 4pm
The partying will be at Ainsley and Dave’s farm in Whately, in their awesome greenhouse.
I think I will have Ainsley post directions to the farm in the comments, so check back.

Okay, girls, it’s time to start planning the Third Annual PVPG Birthday/Halloween Bash! Woot!
Seems that the weekend of Oct. 27 and 28 would be best for those I have polled; does anyone have a day or time preference? I was thinking 4pm to bedtime, Saturday or Sunday.
Corrie suggested the Universal Kids indoor playground in Noho instead of the traditional Florence Civic Center. I’d love to hear opinions on that as well. I will call and see what the pot luck food situation is there, as well as fees, etc.

THE DEEDLE DEEDLE DEES (check their MySpace) are a Brooklyn-based rock band for kids (and smart adults). Saturday June 16 6pm . Artifacts 20th Century. 28 N. Maple Street, Florence. $5 per person. 5:30pm doors.
One of the members will also be at Cup & Top at 10:00 am on the 16th.

Hi girls-
Does anyone know of a good, close by-ish petting zoo? Audrey cried all the way home today, saying she wanted to pet the cows, and the sheep, and the pigs, and the cows…. you get the idea.
Could be a PVPG field trip—let me know if anyone wants to join us, the more the merrier.

Our local grocery store, Big E’s in Easthampton, will be giving out free ID Kits for Kids, including photo and DNA, on Saturday May 19th from 10:00 am to 1 pm. Often the kits contain a fingerprint kit and you can have prints made at the local police station. I feel sort of squirmy about this- the whole “my kid is going to get kidnapped” paranoia, but when I was traveling alone with Paddy the security team at the airport asked if I had any ID for him and recommended that we get some!
